Chairman Samuel B. Barnes called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. Pledge to Allegiance

IV. Approval of Minutes |
A motion made to approve the minutes of March 4, 2014. Ayes 4, Nays 0, Abstentions 1 . Motion carried. |
V. Chairman’s Comments |
Chairman Sam encouraged all commission members to try and make a special effort to attend the next several meetings as there are a lot of things coming up. |
VI. Director’s Report

Director Heather was unable to attend this meeting; however, did provide a written report for the meeting. (see attached)

VII. Old Business |
The Student Personal Achievement Award was discussed. Catherine Kane indicated that she may have the criteria and will email to members. Chairman Sam will ask Director Heather to get names from the guidance department. Names of nominees will be available for the May meeting for a vote.
